Introduction to the Pivotal Health Plan


Objectives
  • To rescue your health by strengthening you in spirit, soul and body.
  • To demonstrate and establish proof of concept, by combining the training, diagnostics and health care approach of the 21st Century Medicine with weekly group support.
  • To deliver tangible and quantifiable positive outcomes in terms of health, vitality and weight loss.

Principles

The principles of the PHP are based on the following;
  1. An understanding of the biochemical individuality of each human being, based on the concepts of physical, genetic and environmental uniqueness.
  2. Awareness of the evidence that supports a ‘patient-centred’ rather than a ‘disease centred’ approach to medical treatment.
  3. Search for a dynamic balance among the internal and external elements of body, mind, and spirit.
  4. Familiarity with the web-like interconnections of internal physiological factors.
  5. Identification of health as a positive vitality, not merely the absence of disease. 
  6. Emphasis on those factors that encourage the enhancement of a vigorous physiology.
  7. Promotion of organ reserve as the means to enhance and increase the health span, not just the life span, of each patient.

The 60-Day program overview

The 60 days program includes elements of clinical diagnostics, training, education, support and evaluation; implemented around three headings - Focus, Food and Fitness.

Over the course of the 8 weeks program participants will be encouraged to share information, insights, challenges, frustrations and results - to fully leverage the group support system in delivering positive results for everyone involved. 


The 5 key project stages 

There are five key steps to the program.
  • Stage 1  -  Assessment
Each candidate to complete an extensive confidential online questionnaire. Note, strict confidentiality will be adhered to as only Dr Sharief Ibrahim has access to this personal information. The questionnaire takes approximately 90 minutes to complete but will provide information required to stream the candidates into three groups, which Dr Sharief will determine:

Group 1: This will be for candidates who do not require any medical or specialist test in order to progress with the program.

Group 2: These will be candidates who require some basic levels of additional general tests likely be carried out through their local GP practice.

Group 3: This will be candidates who will require additional specialist tests in order to provide a clearer diagnosis and set out a more specialised treatment pathway.
  • Stage 2  -  Diagnostics
Each of the candidates will be provided with a detailed report and analysis of their health and key areas to be addressed through this program. 

They will also be informed about the tests that may need to be completed and any potential costs involved in these if they require the use of specialist US labs.
  • Stage 3  -  Training
Training is a key part of building the understanding of the body mechanisms and behaviours that impact health and vitality.

The 60-day program will kick of with a full day of training, which will be led by Dr Sharief Ibrahim. This day will not only be packed with important information but will also include the practical steps that will underpin their individual success.

There will be a further half day training session after 4 weeks, which will provide an opportunity to all candidates to get together and discuss how vitamins and supplements that can support them on their journey to better health.

The final piece of training will be at the end of the 60 days. This training will be focused around how to continue to make progress, and how to embed the positive behaviours and habits into everyday living, leading to greater health and vitality.
  •  Stage 4  -  Support
Support is the missing ingredient for many health and weight loss programs. Candidates on this 60 days program will attend weekly group sessions. The group leader will facilitate the session.

Their role of the group leader is to provide a focus to each session and to communicate and distribute new information provided by Dr Sharief Ibrahim. The focus for the weekly sessions is practical advises, steps and actions.

The facilitator is also there to encourage the group to share experiences, challenges and successes.
  • Stage 5  -  Results and outcomes
This program is all about achieving quantifiable results and outcomes for each candidate.

The candidates will need to be assessed and key measures taken by one of the program specialists (either Dr Sharief Ibrahim or the group leader under the guidance of Dr Sharief). 

These measures will be taken both at the beginning and end of the program.

Each week during the course of the program, candidates will be required to take their own measurements and complete an evaluation form.

This will allow Dr Sharief Ibrahim to monitor individuals and the group as a whole, and quickly assess if anyone requires additional support.

At the end of the program we will be sharing the aggregated results and outcomes with all candidates to help provide the motivation and encouragement for them to continue on their journey to greater vitality and strength.

These are the top level focus points however we will also be covering other areas such as behaviour towards food, exercise types, the ageing process, relationships and much more.
